Our School
Our school is well maintained and boasts extensive grounds providing a large playing field, a Forest School area and two playgrounds. The outdoor pavilion provides shelter and is used as an outdoor classroom. We have seven main classrooms, the Nursery and the Unit for the teaching of Hearing Impaired Children. All surround a delightful school garden which is the Early Years' outdoor classroom.

Our Ethos
We are aiming for excellence in every aspect of school life. We believe this is achieved by promoting our values.
Community - We respect the world around us and the people we share it with
Courage - We are brave and believe in ourselves; we take responsibility for our own actions
Curiosity - We are always ready to learn new things
Commitment - We persevere; always doing our best in all that we do
Every child is given a Lexden Passport to Tomorrow which contains activities inspired by our values.
At Lexden Primary School we value the diversity of backgrounds of all pupils, families and the wider school community.
The Department for Education states that there is a need:
“To create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs”.
Here at Lexden Primary School we are pleased to be able to offer a Forest School programme, run by a Level 3 Forest School leader and support staff.
